The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

After graduation, I continued to work for Supelco in Bellefonte, Pa., holding various positions since 1985 to include overseeing the purchasing and planning departments. In 2001, I had the opportunity to join the staff of the Food Science Department at Penn State as manager of operations. It was great being a part of a group who were dedicated to being a top quality food science program for students, employers, and the world. I am proud to have helped plan and coordinate building activities for the new Food Science Building which includes the Berkey Creamery. My son also graduated from PSU during this time and is a police officer today. In 2006, I rejoined Supelco, part of Sigma Aldrich Corporation, to support process improvement throughout the plant. As manager of process improvement, I teach, coach, and facilitate teams conducting process improvement projects that impact overall business results. I am proud to be a part of a global team who helps solve analytical research problems in the life sciences across environmental, food and beverage, clinical, and petrochemical industries. My husband, Scott, and I are enjoying life in State College spending time at home with our two dogs, golfing, riding our Harley, and hanging out with family and friends. Although raised in Tar Heel country, I am forever a Lady Lions fan!
